Why Your LinkedIn Profile Isn't Showing Up in Search & How to Fix It

If you search for your name or target job title on LinkedIn and your profile does not appear, your profile is suffering from a search visibility blockage. This issue is surprisingly common and is almost always caused by misconfigured settings or keyword misalignment.

1. Creative Job Titles: If your headline is "Digital Storyteller" instead of "Content Marketing Specialist," recruiter boolean searches will exclude you completely. Standardize your headline with our Headline Generator.

2. Profile Privacy Settings: Navigate to Settings > Visibility > "Edit your public profile". Ensure your public profile visibility is toggled to "On" and all individual sections (headline, summary, experience) are visible to the public.
